01 · Why We Exist
Countries and large organizations are moving quickly to adopt AI. But there is a catch many people do not think about. With many public cloud AI services, data and workloads are processed on infrastructure operated by someone else, sometimes outside the organization or country. For a hospital, bank or government, that can create serious questions around data, security, governance and control.
That gap — using powerful AI without giving up control over your data, infrastructure and operations — is what we exist to close.
01 · Why We Exist
Open Innovation AI has been building sovereign AI infrastructure since before it became a national priority. What has changed is the urgency around us. Governments are no longer experimenting with AI at the edges. They are moving to run it at national scale.
The UAE is a clear example.
Under the directives of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced a framework to transform 50% of government sectors, operations, and services to Agentic AI within two years.
Moves like this do not create our reason for being. They confirm it. The faster AI is adopted at national scale, the more it matters that these systems are secure, governed, and trustworthy, and that they stay under the owner's control. That is the problem we were built to solve.
